WELCOME TO 

Our lab's mission is to explore and map natural genetic, structural and adaptive variation of cognition and related brain function. We use long-term experimental evolution, robotics-assisted high-throughput behavioural phenotyping, topological data analysis, next generation sequencing technology, genome-wide association mapping, and the full range of Drosophila transgenic toolkit to reveal the mysteries of the brain, its structure, function, and evolution. Besides the brain, we also explore the population, conservation and spatial genetics of declining Acropora millepora coral populations in the Coral Sea.
